Arkansas native, author, and creative professional. I’ve worn a lot of hats over forty-odd years—restaurant manager, factory foreman, amateur graphic designer, theater manager and for a brief time chicken vaccinator —but these days, most of my head-space is occupied by this Podcast or the manuscript on my desk. Writing under the name C.S. Grady, I’m currently deep in the world of The Yellowed Pages: Book of David, a project that’s as much about the mechanics of a good character arc as it is about the story itself.

Here’s the thing: I’m a firm believer that how something is built matters. Whether I’m refining a verse into iambic pentameter for a song like Worlds Unseen or building a Magic: The Gathering Commander deck around a Group Hug strategy, I like systems that make sense, and I have a low tolerance for the ones that don't.

At the end of the day, I’m just a guy who appreciates an honest conversation and a well-turned phrase. I’ve learned the hard way that life doesn’t always rhyme, but that doesn’t mean you stop looking for the rhythm. If you’re looking for someone who values truth over trends and a grounded perspective over a polished pitch, we’ll probably get along just fine.
